Raw funk & soul mixed with some hiphop, reggae & beat with DJ’s Taco Fett, Bart Fader & Alviz ft MC Melodee! These are the main ingredients for another night of Struttin’ on Friday the 16th of April at the Bitterzoet in Amsterdam.

La Melodia has been part of the Carhartt Family for some years now. We just want to give them back some love and appreciation for their work and effort representing Carhartt by informing you about them! 

For those who don’t know La Melodia already; here is a chance to download one of La Melodia’s newest track from their forthcoming album Electronic Love; Come and get it. Beside this new track you can also get their limited 7 inch “Chemistry / Working on it” directly from their label “Record Breakin’ Music. We hope you like them as much as we do!

On Wednesday the 5th of May, Mayer Hawthorne will be performing at the Melkweg in Amsterdam! We had a few tickets to give away, but unfortunately they are all gone! But if you want to go, there are still tickets available!

Our new spring / summer 2010 collection is in the shops now and photographer Alexander Basile gives us an impression of this nice collection with his mood full and authentic pictures. You can have a look here at some of the images he made for our Brandbook #3 which is also available in our shops!

Carhartt’s newest Brandbook is now available at our stores! This book futures the spring/summer 2010 collection, History of our company, highlights of our Heritage Line, collaborations between Carhartt and brands like Vans and also Charge! Spring / Summer 2010 will be fresh and exciting for us!

Our Rugged magazine has now got its own website which will replace the paper magazine. So for all Rugged lovers who were crying since the magazine stops pretty soon; Rugged lives on here!

On Tuesday the 23rd of March we will get some Souls of Mischief limited boxes with some nice goodies!

Carhartt is proud to present to you the Souls of Mischief European tour trough some selective Carhartt shops in March 2010! And yes, Amsterdam will be one of them!  Hip Hop group souls of Mischief, best known from their song “From 93 Till Infinity”, started in 1991 in Oakland California and they are still around today!  

On Tuesday the 23rd of March they will hit our shop in Amsterdam for a free full set starting around 20:00 This happening we also want to share with you since our shop  has been around for 5 years now! This show will be there only one in Holland this year, so you better go and tell your friends and family to come here and check it out, it’s going to be wild!
