The summer is nearly over, automn is kicking in, and we have the new Fall / Winter 2010 collection ready for you! Since August we already had some new arrivals in our shop, and we will be getting more and more within the upcoming period. You can have a look at the new collection on our mainsite here, or visit the Carhartt shop in Amsterdam!

Friday the 30th of July 2010 we will have a new exhibition opening about the Skateboarding 3D book by Sebastian Denz. Please have a look at the really cool and amazing skateboard photo’s in 3D. Especially for the opening we have a lot of 3D glasses and big photo’s. Everybody is invited so start spreading the news!

Friday the 18th of June it’s time for another Struttin’ at the Bitterzoet in Amsterdam! Check it out!

Finally we have some nice weather here in Holland. Time to get some fresh new gear, or to go for some of our classic items. Now we have a lot of shorts on stock, so don’t sleep on this one! Here are a few product highlights of our Spring / Summer collection 2010!

Dutch Hip Hop has got some really good crews and talents. M.O. & Brakko are a few of them which we appreciate and like. Here is their latest video “Onvergetelijk” ( Unforgettable ) from their EP Koester. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do, and big up to M.O. & Brakko for representing Carhartt in this video!

Carhartt have teamed up with UK-based bicycle company Charge to produce the perfect union of a single-speed and a fixed-gear bike that allows the rider the ability to switch back and forth between these two systems.

Charge is known worldwide as a bicycle company that specialises in simple, yet functional bicycles and frames with distinctive flair and contemporary style.

To celebrate the grand opening of Giro d’Italia 2010 in Amsterdam, EHVFXD and Amsterdam Fixxxed proudly invite you to our hardcourt bike polo tournament Polomania! The tournament takes place at the Johan Cruyff outdoor court located right next to the Olympisch Stadion, which is the finish point of Giro d’Italia time trial on the same day. Teams from Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, England, France, Italy and Spain show their skills and love to the bicycle in a different manner alongside the Giro racing. Come and watch some exciting polo action!

For all the people who live in Holland it’s not necessary to explain what Queensday stands for, but for those who don’t.. One day of madness; parties every were, people laughing and having fun! Amsterdam is the place to be and this year a new event will take place at Bar/Restaurant Brandstof! From 14:00 until 21:00 there will be DJ’s like, Delay ( Wawell Records ), SP ( Bboyconnections / Channel Zero ) Japie ( Yes you know him ), Full Crate ( Mixing Monthly ) and DJ Shortkut ( from the world famous BEAT JUNKIES / I.P.S. / Triple Threat DJ’s ). The host will be MC Melodee from La Melodia! Enough said, better make sure you come by and check it out! RING THE ALARM!!

La Melodia has been part of the Carhartt Family for some years now. We just want to give them back some love and appreciation for their work and effort representing Carhartt by informing you about them!
